Frequently Asked Questions

DeepView Imaging (formerly "Precision Prostate Consulting, LLC") is a medical image interpretation service specializing in prostate cancer screening, detection, diagnosis and treatment planning. We provide expert analysis of prostate MRI scans to help physicians make informed decisions about patient care.

Our consultation process involves the following steps:

1. Start a new study request
2. Fill out the required patient information, including clinical history.
3. Provide the physician information (requires their NPI number) or opt to waive this requirement.
4. Upload the MRI scan (in ZIP format).
5. Authorize payment (payment is only collected after the report is generated).
6. Review and submit the study request.
7. A detailed report will be available within one hour of submission.

$259 (USD) - for the first MRI analysis
$159 (USD) - for subsequent MRI analyses

‍This includes a diagnostic report (PDF) and colorized overlays on the original MRI input image series (DICOM files). The results can be shared freely with your care team.

Payment is only collected if the MRI is processed successfully. If the MRI cannot be processed for any reason (e.g. it falls outside our acquisition parameters), payment will not be collected.

The MRI upload must be a single ZIP (archive) file containing DICOM files from the MRI scan. The scan must meet our acquisition parameters.

Instructions for Windows PCs:

1. If images are on a CD or thumb-drive, insert CD into your disk drive or flash drive into the USB port.
   
2. After inserting the CD or drive, click "File Explorer", then locate "This PC" on the right hand side and find your CD or flash drive.
   
3. Double-click on your CD drive or flash drive folder that contains the images.
   
4. Highlight all images by dragging a box over them or pressing Ctrl+A
   
5. Right-click and select "Send to" and then "Compressed (zipped) folder". Save the zipped file to your Desktop.
   
6. Once you've created your *.zip file, you will be able to upload this to Precision Prostate Consulting site on the "Upload MRI" step.
   

Each request submitted is for a single MRI scan. If you have more than one MRI scan, you'll need to submit an additional request.
If the ZIP (archive) file you upload contains more than one MRI scan, we will only process the most recent scan.

No, the AI solution was trained specifically on a large dataset of MRI scans.
It was not trained on other modalities, such as Ultrasounds and CT scans, and therefore we cannot accept these at this time.

Results are typically available within one hour after submission.

Yes, we take patient privacy and data security very seriously. All medical information is handled in compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry best practices. Our platform uses encryption and secure storage to protect your sensitive medical data.

We accept all major credit cards. Payment is only collected after the report is successfully generated. If there are any issues with processing your study, no charges will be applied.

This service is considered out-of-pocket and is not covered by your health insurance or Medicare.

However, you may submit the receipt to your HSA (Health Saving Account) for reimbursement.

Yes, once you create an account and submit a consultation request, you can log into your dashboard to track the status of your study in real-time. You'll receive notifications as your study progresses through each stage.

Requests can be submitted by licensed physicians, healthcare institutions, or patients. All requests must include an MRI scan.

You can edit most study information before final submission. Once a study has been submitted, modifications may require contacting our customer service team.
